Glow Haus opened in 2020 at 1570 South Dairy Ashford in Houston. Owner Vanessa Vega started the business as a solo licensed esthetician, and it has grown from that single-practitioner start.
The studio was built around a simple idea: waxing should feel unrushed, welcoming, personal and free of judgment. Appointments are given the time they need, and each step is explained as it happens.
Beyond hair removal, the work centers on skin prep, technique and aftercare. It says it uses quality products for results that last and describes itself as offering expert Brazilian and body waxing and vajacials.
Bundles pair a Brazilian wax with one other area, such as underarms, happy trail, extended inner thigh or full butt. Vajacials are targeted treatments for the bikini area that exfoliate, soothe and hydrate the skin, and they can be booked alone or added to a Brazilian and underarm wax.
The studio treats waxing as more than hair removal, attending to skin preparation, technique and aftercare, with appointments paced to the client.
