Sugaring is the core hair removal service. Gloloft uses a paste made from sugar, water and lemon juice, applied at body temperature, with hair removed in the direction of growth. The business says the paste mainly adheres to dead skin cells rather than live skin, and that sugaring is gentler than waxing and suits sensitive skin. Hair should be at least a quarter inch long before an appointment, results typically last several weeks, and appointments are commonly booked every four to six weeks.

Airbrush tanning is a UV-free option in which a fine mist of solution builds a custom color. The technician chooses and applies a shade based on skin tone and the look the guest wants. Tans commonly last about a week. For weddings, photos or events, the studio recommends booking one to two days ahead, and it suggests a trial tan before a first major event.

Gloloft asks guests to prepare in advance. For sugaring, that means gentle exfoliation 24 to 48 hours before and avoiding sun and tanning for 24 hours before. For airbrush tans, guests exfoliate the whole body about a day ahead, shave or wax beforehand, and skip lotion, deodorant, perfume and makeup on areas being sprayed. Afterward, guests are asked to keep clear of water, sweating and tight clothing while the tan develops. The business does not offer Manzilian or male intimate hair removal.

Gloloft's Waverly Place studio is closed on Mondays and is open 9 AM to 9 PM Tuesday through Friday and 9 AM to 6 PM on weekends. Each studio has its own phone line and email address, and general inquiries and partnership requests go to a separate contact address.

Gloloft says each service is tailored to the guest's needs and preferences rather than one-size-fits-all, and that its commitments include ongoing education and attention to industry best practices.
