GLO BRAIDS

Glo Braids takes appointments for protective braiding and twist styles, including box braids, knotless braids, crochet installs, locs and twists. Bookings run on set times, with appointments offered at 7:30am or 1:30pm. Requests for other times are moved to one of these slots.

Clients should book with a $20 deposit, which is non-refundable. Hair should be washed and detangled before the appointment and must be at least 4 inches long. Appointment times are estimates and sessions can run longer than the time booked. Cancellations and reschedules need at least 48 hours' notice, and a 40% fee is charged to the card on file for a missed appointment that was not canceled or moved in time. Payment is accepted by cash, Zelle or card.

The shop uses Xpression pre-stretched hair for its styles. Length guides are given by style: butt length uses three 72-inch packs, waist length uses three 52-inch packs, and mid back uses two 42-inch packs plus one 52-inch pack. Curly styles use Milky Wave Que hair in 18 inches, and clients may bring their own curly hair for styling. Human hair is also available in 24-inch or 26-inch lengths.
