The salon began as a kids' salon and later grew to offer cuts and color for the whole family, after many parents asked for haircuts that everyone in the household could book together.

The salon removed its car-shaped chairs, which were costly, used up space and were difficult to work with. Today it runs as a small studio with one stylist and few interruptions, so each client gets focused attention.

The salon is open by appointment only, Monday through Wednesday from 2:00 PM to 6:00 PM. Appointments are booked through the online booking app, which also handles changes and cancellations. New color and extension clients complete a digital consultation form before booking, some color and extension services need an in-person consultation and a deposit, and new haircut-only clients can skip the form. Color services can only be booked online by people who are already salon clients. A non-refundable deposit applies to some appointments, a policy the salon introduced because of frequent no-shows and last-minute cancellations. Root touch-ups cover regrowth of one inch or less, and longer regrowth carries an extra charge.

The salon has no published phone number. Clients can reach the stylist by email, which is usually answered within 24 hours, through the message button in the booking app, or on Facebook Messenger.
