Glam Theory Cosmetics was founded in May 2020 by Jessica, who had worked for many years as a freelance makeup artist before starting the company. It describes itself as a multifaceted brand focused on beauty for every woman.

About

The line was created to represent women of every personality and ethnicity. The company says its products are vegan, cruelty free and paraben free, are not tested on animals, and carry a slight vanilla scent. Lip products are described as non-toxic as well. Orders of $100 or more ship free, and promo codes can be used once per customer and cannot be combined.

The studio is at Suite 326 on East Pleasant Run Road. It is open Wednesday 7 AM to 5 PM, Friday 6 AM to 5 PM, Saturday 6 AM to 6:30 PM and Sunday 12 PM to 4 PM, and closed Monday, Tuesday and Thursday. Clients are asked to arrive with a clean, exfoliated face and groomed brows and lips. Care requests go to info@glamtheorycosmetics.com and are answered within 24 to 48 hours.

Makeup services include Soft/Neutral glam offered from 9 AM to 5 PM, starting at $125 for about 75 minutes, in three levels: nude with no eyeshadow, soft with one eyeshadow color, and neutral with two to three. Early Bird glam runs from 5 AM to 8 AM, starting at $160 for about 75 minutes. The Luxe Makeup and Skincare Package, $160 for about 85 minutes with an $80 deposit, begins with a double cleanse, light facial massage, hydrating toner, vitamin C serum, moisturizer and SPF before a soft or neutral glam with brows, lashes and optional contour and highlight.

Facial options include Back, Diamond Glow, Essential Glow, Firming Peptide, Gentleman's, High Frequency Acne, Hydrafacial, Men's High Frequency Beard, Microdermabrasion and Nano Infusion Glow. Waxing covers bikini, Brazilian, eyebrow, half leg, lip and underarm. A Glam 101: Learn on Yourself class is also offered.

Bridal services include bride glam at $175, bridesmaid, mother of the bride and mother of the groom glam at $125 per person for parties of at least four, and a bridal consultation at $150 (from $150, about 90 minutes or more, in studio only). A $150 assistant fee applies to parties of eight or more. Mobile bridal travel is $100 flat plus $0.725 per mile, with round-trip options from 12 to 60 miles, and the fee increases outside Dallas. Wedding dates are secured with a 50% non-refundable retainer, and services are confirmed only once the contract is signed and the retainer submitted. In-studio brides must book under the bridal appointment type.
