Glam Luxe Artistry is based at the studio on Grove Avenue in Gurnee. Megan Orozco began it in 2021 as a one-woman makeup business and later added hair styling, so clients can book hair and makeup together.

The team works on location across Chicagoland, Northern Illinois and Southern Wisconsin, and takes destination weddings worldwide with travel and accommodation included in the proposal.

Booking starts with an online inquiry form describing the event. The team replies within 24 to 48 hours, then schedules a consultation call once pricing lines up and sends a tailored proposal. A signed agreement and retainer are needed to hold a date.

Bridal packages come in three tiers. The Pearl Experience is a simple, à la carte option with no preview or added event coverage. The Rose Experience adds a two-hour bridal preview trial, a consultation for look customization and timeline guidance for the wedding morning. The Champagne Experience is the most extensive, covering several events such as an engagement session, rehearsal dinner or welcome event, along with extended planning and priority booking. Makeup in each tier includes skin prep with a face mask, bridal application, lashes and a personalized touch-up kit.

Makeup lessons are taught one-on-one by Megan Orozco and cover everyday routines, a review of the client's makeup bag and product recommendations. The signature lesson runs 2.5 hours for $250. The Luxe Makeup Masterclass runs 4 hours for $400 and adds advanced eye looks, contour and highlight, and false lash application. Private group lessons start at $150 per person with a minimum of three people and can be arranged for parties or events.

The studio aims for beauty services that feel effortless, personal and polished, using professional-grade makeup products throughout.
