Glam By Corn

Glam By Corn is based at Harbor Town Square in Memphis and books glam appointments, bridal parties, and private classes. Services are grouped into Bridal, Classes, Experience, and Glam, and each has its own length, price, and booking steps.

Glam services range from a 30-minute natural or soft glam to a 1 hour 10 minute full glam with colorful eyeshadow and optional cut crease, glitter, or colorful eyeliner. Lashes are included in the glam services. Editorial glams, a 1 hour 30 minute option meant for fashion shoots rather than everyday wear, require contacting the studio before booking to talk through the look.

The Bridal Glam Package covers four bridesmaids in a 5 hour 30 minute session, with lashes provided. Each additional bridesmaid or party attendee adds $125 and includes a natural or soft glam, and the timing grows with the size of the party. Clients can contact the studio for specific makeover looks.

The Signature Liquid Chrome Experience pairs a natural, soft, or full glam with a one-hour video shoot, one 30-second edited reel, five edited photos, and creative direction. Editorial glam within this experience carries additional fees, and group shoots are priced after a consultation.

Classes are one-on-one. The Self Application class is a 2 hour session that teaches step-by-step application and a cleansing routine, and includes disposable items for a personal kit. The Artistry class is a 3 hour session for people aspiring to become professional makeup artists, covering sanitation, skin prep, foundation, color matching, contouring, brows, eyeshadow, lashes, lips, social media presence, building a clientele, and marketing. Artistry clients bring their own model, or the studio provides one.

Booking requires a $25 deposit that is applied to the balance. Clients are asked to arrive with hair already done, and bonnets are not allowed, though scarves at the edges and pinned curls are fine. Extra guests, including children, are not permitted at appointments. Arriving 10 minutes late incurs a $50 late fee, and late clients may not be accommodated. Retainer fees are non-refundable. Same-day appointments and appointments before the stated start time each add $100. The studio is open Monday to Friday 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM and Saturday 8:00 AM to 9:00 PM, and is closed Sundays.
