GiveMeKisses is a one-artist makeup business in the Midtown area of Kansas City, near Brush Creek. Everything is booked by appointment, and the exact address is sent once a booking is confirmed. Clients can reach the business by phone or text.

The core menu is event makeup, ranging from a 30-minute Soft Kisses brow and lash service for $35 to Big Kisses, a $100 full face with up to three eyeshadow colors and strip lashes that takes an hour. Signature Kisses ($80) gives a natural face without eyeshadow, Just Eyes ($60) covers the eyes only, and Full Glam ($ with multi-colored shadow, glitter, cut crease, rhinestones, strip lashes, bottom lashes and an arch is the most elaborate look. Henna brows are $50 for an hour, with the brow arch included and strip lashes available for $5 more. A brow arch can be added to Big Kisses for $10.

Wedding parties are a major part of the work. A bridal consultation ($150, two hours) includes a trial run of the chosen look and a full face of makeup, and it is required before booking a wedding party, though not when only the bride is booking. Consultations are held any day except Saturday and include one extra guest. Party pricing is $150 for the bride, $95 for each bridesmaid, $95 for mothers and $25 for flower girls, with a $200 travel fee for locations up to 40 miles. Parties over seven people need an additional makeup artist. The calendar opens one month ahead, and wedding parties can be booked up to six months out.

Makeup lessons come in two levels. Makeup 101 ($175, two to three hours) teaches clients to do their own makeup, with the artist supplying everything. Makeup 102 ($300, two to four hours) is a hands-on class for makeup artists and aspiring artists, and a model is provided. Makeup parties cost $100 per participant for groups of two or more, include all supplies, and are not lessons. They must be booked by text rather than online.

Day-of policies cover the practical details. Lashes are included with every service, and clients should mention any known makeup allergies at the start. Clients may bring their own makeup, but results cannot be guaranteed with products the artist does not know. The clock starts at arrival, or at the agreed time if the client is not ready when the artist arrives. Extra guests and children are not allowed unless they are being serviced, and a photographer must leave right after taking pictures. The location has stairs and is not wheelchair accessible. The remaining balance is due at the end of the appointment, and early payments are not taken. Cash, Venmo and Apple Pay are accepted, with CashApp and PayPal carrying small fees. Cancellations made less than 24 hours ahead forfeit the deposit, and appointments can be moved with more than 24 hours' notice within 60 days. No-call no-shows will be banned. Messages are answered within 48 hours, and texting gets a faster reply.

The business says makeup should last all day, at least eight hours, depending on skin type.
