The menu is broad. Hair services include haircuts, trims, color, relaxers, texturizers, silk presses, wash and set, and a range of curl and wave styles. Braid and extension work covers box braids, cornrows, crochet, sew-ins and weaves, and loc services include installation, extensions, reattachment, retwists and maintenance, along with two-strand twists. Barber services cover beard color, cuts, fades, line-ups and shape-ups, and there is a massage menu of deep tissue, hot oil and hot stone work.
Visits that run long are handled with deposits or down payments. A deposit is required for any job over two hours, including loc extensions, reattachments and hair extensions. Box braids with extensions over two hours need a down payment, and cornrows over three hours need a deposit.
Clients can buy eGift cards in set amounts or a custom amount, and the shop runs a referral program: a returning client gets $5 off their next visit for each referred friend who books, up to $15, and a referred new client gets $10 off their first booked appointment. The salon also sells Gissy Hair & Beard Oil, a moisturizing conditioning blend for hair.
Each client has a private suite, and the stylist's focus stays on that one client for the visit.
