Repair work covers all makes and models, including oil changes, fluid checks and exchanges, tune-ups, filter and wiper replacement, brakes, air conditioning, suspension work and general repairs. Check engine light problems are diagnosed by testing and confirming trouble codes in the shop, not by relying only on a parts store reading. Estimates are not given by phone, text or email, so a courtesy inspection at the shop comes first. Most repairs carry a 2-year or 24,000-mile warranty, whichever comes first. The shop does not usually install customer-supplied parts for repair jobs.
Labor is listed at $125.99 per hour for maintenance and $169.99 per hour for repairs, before taxes and shop and recycling fees. Financing and buy-now-pay-later options are available for repairs, and the shop runs specials and coupons for vehicle maintenance. Hours are Monday through Friday 8 AM to 6 PM and Saturday 8 AM to 4 PM. Appointments can be booked by phone or text at 484-461-4693, through the website chat, or online, and drop-off and pick-up outside operating hours can be arranged by text or phone. For towing, the shop advises using AAA or insurance first and can arrange a tow to the shop if neither is available.
Clutch Beauty Bar is a nail and beauty space attached to the repair center and open to all customers, with no repair appointment needed to visit. Services include manicures, pedicures, facials and waxing. The products are natural nail products the site describes as non-toxic, vegan and cruelty-free, and the Dazzle Dry system is used, which the site says dries in about five minutes and lasts seven or more days. Acrylic and hard gel enhancements are not offered. Each visit to the repair center includes a free manicure that requires a service at Clutch; it cannot be transferred and no cash alternative is offered. Long-lasting polish, soft gel polish and other spa treatments cost extra.
The Very Important Driver membership covers the required yearly maintenance for one registered vehicle over a 12-month term. The small-vehicle plan is $780 a year or $65 a month, the large-vehicle plan is $840 a year or $70 a month, and a PRO plan for rideshare, delivery and other work vehicles starts at $175 a month. A one-time $35 sign-up fee is waived with a yearly plan. Membership does not cover repairs, diagnostics, body work or tires unless stated, and it applies to vehicles driven fewer than 18,000 miles per membership year. Car care workshops are offered as a free community session with RSVP, or as a Plus session of about four hours for $200 that includes take-home tools and a Glove Box Guide.
Aims to educate and empower women through their cars, with repairs the company describes as dependable, honest and educational. The shop also trains women mechanics for automotive careers.
The Clutch lounge has a window seat, a laptop work station, a TV room and a kids' play area, with coffee, tea and a snack at no charge while customers wait.
