Georgetown Bride is a bridal beauty team led by founder Melissa Schwartz Jones, who also works as a makeup artist. The team works with brides and their wedding parties, and describes itself as award-winning. Its studio is in Old Town Alexandria, and it also goes to clients, whether that is a hotel suite or a private residence, at no extra charge for the artists to travel to the location.

The team's makeup style leans clean, natural, and polished, with the goal of enhancing a face rather than covering it. Hair is styled to look soft and touchable while staying put all day and night. The artists say they keep up with current trends but also keep classic looks in their repertoire. They have experience with a wide range of ages, skin types, skin tones, hair textures, and hair colors, including ethnic hair, Asian eye shapes, and Indian makeup looks. Makeup is matched to all skin undertones, and skin types are assessed before application. Airbrush makeup is offered at no additional charge, and clients may also use their own preferred makeup products.

Before the wedding, clients can book a trial at the Old Town Alexandria studio on weekday late mornings, afternoons, and evenings, plus select Sundays during the season. Clients can bring inspiration images or links and their veil or headpiece. Trials can also be scheduled before a night out, an event, or a shower or bachelorette party to see how the look wears. Engagement shoots cannot be booked as trials. On the wedding day, the team coordinates its timeline with clients and their wedding planners. Large wedding parties can be accommodated by booking additional artists.

Pricing is provided by email on request. Credit card payments carry a 3% processing fee, and holiday bookings carry a 20% service fee. Venues more than 25 miles from downtown incur an hourly travel fee per artist, with a custom quote on request. Gratuity is not included in prices. A deposit of 25% secures the wedding date and is non-refundable. Cancellations must be made in writing, and cancellations made less than 30 days before the wedding owe the full balance. Payment is accepted by major credit cards and Venmo. Gift certificates are available, and there is no minimum booking requirement, though clients are accommodated when availability allows.

The team meets with each client before the wedding to talk through their vision for the day.
