Gen 3 Functional Medicine + Wellness was co-founded by three sisters: Jenny Maxey, Rachel Huston and Samantha Herrington. The clinic describes its approach as root-cause wellness care for people who sense that something is off and want a clearer place to begin. It is not intended to replace a patient's primary care doctor, and it works alongside that relationship.

Gen 3 Functional Medicine + Wellness was co-founded by three sisters: Jenny Maxey, Rachel Huston and Samantha Herrington. The clinic describes its approach as root-cause wellness care for people who sense that something is off and want a clearer place to begin. The evaluation reads across several body systems at once, including hormones, metabolism, gut health, nutrient levels, inflammation, recovery and stress, instead of judging any single isolated measurement. For most people dealing with ongoing symptoms, the first step is the Health Optimization Panel. At the results visit, symptoms, history, goals and lab findings are reviewed together. That visit closes with a written next step, which could be a program, a supportive service, a follow-up or a referral. Joining a program afterward is optional.
Programs are built around each person's labs, symptoms, history and goals rather than a one-size-fits-all plan. The Functional Medicine Program suits overlapping symptoms, complex history or patterns that do not fit one track. Hormone Optimization, Metabolic Reset and Gut Health Optimization are narrower tracks for specific concerns. Plans can include nutrition, lifestyle changes, targeted supplementation, follow-up labs, supportive therapies or referrals, and the team adjusts them as response is tracked over time.
Supportive therapies include IV therapy and injections, hyperbaric oxygen, red light therapy, dry cold plunge, sauna, compression and Emerald body contouring, a non-surgical body-composition service. IV visits take place in a lounge setting with nurse-led administration and monitoring. These services can be booked directly when they fit the patient's goal, and the team reviews basic safety questions first. Urgent or changing symptoms are directed to appropriate medical channels instead. Superbills are available for possible insurance reimbursement. The business reports a 4.9-star Google rating from more than 250 reviews.
