Erin, the owner, trained at Aveda Institute and started out as an assistant. She later became self-employed and ran her own business out of two salons, and she has worked in the industry for seventeen years. She opened Gardner & Co. to give other stylists the support to grow into business owners of their own. The team describes a collaborative culture in which stylists encourage one another's growth.

The salon aims to be a peaceful break from busy schedules, with stylists using their artistry to help clients feel more confident.
