GabyStudio Astoria class venue

The studio began in early 2017 as GabyMakeup8 Lashes and Beauty. Its first product line, for lashes, was designed in 2019, and a brow and makeup line followed. The business was renamed GabyStudio in early 2025 and moved to Long Island City that year, while GabyMakeup8 remains the brand name for its products. The legal company, GabyMakeup8 Corp, was incorporated in the United States in 2020.

The studio's services fall into four groups. Brow work includes shaping by design, wax and thread hair removal, upper lip removal, henna, hybrid tint, brow lamination with tint and Botox, and brow restoration. Lash extensions range from classic one-to-one application in natural or Rimel effects to hybrid sets, 2D, 3D, 4D and 5D volume, Mega Volume, removal and touch-ups. Natural lash treatments include lash lamination with Lash Botox and tint, and a Korean technique lash lift. Makeup is offered for evenings, bridal, teens, and events or parties. Courses are aimed at beginners and at experienced practitioners who want to refresh or refine their technique. Group brow courses run in person in Astoria with up to five students per group, and personal courses cover lash extensions, classic lashes, lash lamination, brow lamination and the master classes. Students practice on live models, and the studio can help find models when needed. Courses include lunch and coffee breaks or snacks, and students receive a certificate of participation. The one-to-one Master Lash Class (about 24 hours over four days) is listed at $2,700 against a regular $2,800, the one-to-one Master Brow Class (about 18 hours over three days) at $2,300 against a regular $2,500, and a group lash extension course on three dates at $1,800 against a regular $2,100. The two-day brow course, about 12 hours from 10 am to 4 pm, is listed at $1,200 against a regular $1,400 and includes a printed manual and a starter kit.

According to the studio, it has trained more than 600 lash, brow and makeup specialists and has served more than 2,000 clients. It describes its product line as a professional brand with international recognition.
