The business says its team has more than fifty years of combined experience in the medical field and that it has helped thousands of clients over the past ten years. Every client starts with a free consultation before any treatment. Laser clients also have a small spot test during that consultation with the doctor, before any laser session. Treatment plans are built individually, and the team will recommend another provider if it cannot meet a client's needs, offering a treatment only when it is judged to be in the client's interest.
Electrolysis works on each hair follicle one at a time: a thin probe delivers an electric current, and the hair is then removed with tweezers. Sessions run from 15 minutes to an hour, and maintenance visits are recommended every three to four months. Hair must be at least 1/16 inch long to be treated, so clients are asked not to tweeze or wax before or between appointments.
Laser treatments use CANDELA GentleLease machines. Laser pulses cover a larger area than an electrolysis probe, and most laser visits take no more than fifteen minutes. Maintenance visits are suggested every six months to a year. Before laser, clients are asked to avoid sun and tanning for four to six weeks and to avoid bleaching, plucking, electrolysis or waxing for six weeks.
Booking policies: appointments canceled within 24 hours are charged a $50 fee, and no-shows are charged the full booked appointment. Clients can avoid fees by calling or texting the office at least 24 hours ahead, since replies to automated reminders are not read. Discounts on service are offered based on staff experience, and packages of seven laser sessions are available for each area.
