Fuzz

Fuzz is a shared studio in Columbus where independent artists work under one roof. There is no single house style or fixed menu. Each artist offers their own services, prices and time slots, so clients choose the person whose work suits them.

The studio aims to be a safe and inclusive place for every client, and artists shape each appointment around the individual. Fuzz has no standard operating hours, so clients check an artist's availability before booking. Tattoo clients use the booking method listed on that artist's portfolio or Instagram, while nail clients book through a link to the nail artist's own page, where prices and openings are shown.

A tattoo visit starts with a little preparation: bring ID and wear clothing that leaves the tattoo area easy to reach. Pasties, coverings and a folding screen are available for extra coverage and privacy during the session. Children are welcome as long as they do not disrupt other clients or artists, and an artist may ask a family to reschedule. Pets are not allowed inside, except registered service dogs.

The shop is wheelchair accessible, with a small step up and a portable ramp used when needed. Three labeled parking spaces sit behind the building for clients and staff, and street parking on W Longview is usually available when they are full. Merchandise is sold in the shop.

Fuzz aims to be a safe and inclusive space, and each artist tailors the experience to the client.
