FUSE Salon is a small hair studio on Wood Street in Bristol, Rhode Island, one block from the Town Common and two blocks from Hope Street. Erin opened the studio and works there as owner and hairstylist.

The menu covers color, root retouching, highlights, haircuts and styling. Color appointments run about 90 minutes, so adding a haircut when booking leaves time for both. Highlights take two hours or more, and their price depends on hair length and density. Haircuts are booked by current hair length. Anyone planning a big color change can book a 30-minute consultation at no charge first.

Color is done with Kemon, an ammonia-free, PPD-free line offered as permanent or demi-permanent, made on a family farm in Tuscany, Italy. The salon also uses Kevin Murphy COLOR.ME, another ammonia-free color line. According to the salon, Kemon results look translucent and shiny.

The studio is a member of the GreenCircle Salons Program and recycles foils, hair clippings and color tubes. It sells Kevin Murphy, Cove and RPM styling products, which can be ordered online, through Facebook or Instagram, and shipped.

Uses ammonia-free, PPD-free color and follows environmentally minded practices through the GreenCircle Salons Program.
