Fringe & Flash is a private studio in Chesterton, Indiana, that describes itself as designed to feel like a small escape from everyday life. The studio's stated goal is to give people one place to reset, celebrate and create.
The studio offers two main groupings: hair packages, including the FRINGE | BLOWOUT BABE and FRINGE & FLASH | BLOW & GLOW services, and photo packages. Photo sessions are described as guided and intentional rather than stiff or heavily posed, and are meant to help clients see themselves with confidence and leave with lasting memories. Holiday photo sessions run one hour at $150, and holiday photo minis are $100.
Beyond appointments, the studio hosts creative events and craft nights, which aim to help adults reconnect with creativity without pressure. Pop-up options include a craft event, a beauty bar and photobooth setup, requested through an event request form.
The studio also has a retail side with apparel, drinkware, home goods, F&F handmade items, The Beauty Shelf and an F&F product shop. Custom apparel orders can be requested through an order form, with a quote sent afterward. A product matchmaker form offers recommendations for hair, skin and body care, gift cards are available, and clients can join the VIP Club through the website.
The studio is open Monday and Tuesday from 9:00 am to 6:00 pm, Thursday from 9:00 am to 3:00 pm, Friday from 9:00 am to 4:00 pm and Saturday from 9:00 am to 2:00 pm. It is closed Wednesday and Sunday. Photo galleries are available on the website, and appointments can be booked on the Book Appointment page.
