Fresh Faces by Carly

Fresh Faces by Carly is a facial studio at 190 Veterans Drive, Suite 201, in Northvale, New Jersey, run by Carly Jacobs. Everything is booked by appointment only, and the studio describes its sessions as intimate and unrushed. Hours are Tuesday and Wednesday afternoons into the evening, Thursday and Friday daytime, and Saturday morning, with the studio closed on Sunday and Monday.

Two facial lengths are offered. The 60 minute facial, at $135, includes a double cleanse, exfoliation, extractions, a sculpting facial massage, a customized treatment mask, and serums and a moisturizer chosen for the client's skin type. The 90 minute facial, at $190, is a longer version that adds a jade comb scalp massage to the sculpting massage.

Booking online requires a deposit: $35 for the 60 minute facial and $65 for the 90 minute facial, applied to the total at the visit. Changes or cancellations need at least 24 hours' notice. A deposit is forfeited for a cancellation made with less notice, and a booking made without a deposit and cancelled within 24 hours carries a charge of 30% of the scheduled service. Gift card holders and raffle winners can book a 60 minute facial at $135 with no deposit.

Before a facial, clients are asked to wait two weeks after Botox or filler treatments and to stop any retinol three days ahead of the appointment.
