Fremont Beauty College Campus

Fremont Beauty College has been operating since 1968 and serves students at two California campuses: one at 4164 Technology Drive in Fremont and one at 4200 Macdonald Ave, Suite G, in Richmond. The Richmond campus is enrolling students in the East Bay area.

The Fremont campus is a Redken Premier School and went through an extensive remodel and expansion over the past few years. The school describes the facility as professional-grade, with large classrooms and free parking, and it is near public transportation. Richmond visitors can view the campus through a virtual tour with photos and video.

Training pairs in-depth classroom theory with hands-on practice. Guest speakers from the beauty industry come in to share current trends. Students also learn to run a salon business, including client service and sales. The school says methodical teaching is the foundation of every lesson, and that instructors, staff and students work together toward each student's career path.

Both campuses offer salon and spa services performed by students, so members of the public can book treatments while training is underway. The Fremont campus offers 1000-hour cosmetology, 1000-hour barbering, 600-hour esthetics and 400-hour manicuring programs. The Richmond campus offers 1000-hour cosmetology and 1000-hour barbering programs.

The school also runs a Business Partners program for salons, spas and barbershops. Partners can request graduates, rent chairs to graduates, or arrange training for current staff. According to the school, the program has no cost and no sales calls, and partner questionnaire information is not sold or shared. Partner shops can attend a Friday evening Barbershop Talk from 6:30 to 8:30 pm and a monthly Monday daytime training module from 10 am to 2 pm.

Instruction is built on methodical teaching and combines theory with hands-on practice, with industry guest speakers bringing in current trends.
