Fran O'Malley Electrolysis

Fran O'Malley Electrolysis focuses on permanent hair removal using electrolysis. The practice works on the face and body, including the breasts and nearby sensitive areas, and serves men, teens, athletes and transgender clients. Clients can book a complimentary consultation to talk through their options before starting a treatment program.

The practice uses shortwave (thermolysis) electrolysis. According to the practice, electrolysis is the only method the FDA permits to be called permanent hair removal, and it describes its results as unsurpassed and says it works on all skin and hair types. Aftercare products are recommended to suit each client's skin and treatment program.

Visits are by appointment only, with no walk-ins. Cancellations need 24 hours' notice. Clients under 16 must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian. Payment in full is due at the time of treatment, and cash, checks and major credit cards are accepted. A 15-minute session is $75, the minimum charge; a 30-minute session is $90; and a 60-minute session is $116. The practice notes that rates may change without notice. Hours are noon to 7:00 pm on Mondays, 9:00 am to 7:00 pm Tuesday through Thursday, 9:00 am to 3:00 pm on Fridays and 9:00 am to 4:00 pm on Saturdays, and the practice is closed on Sundays.
