About

Frame Therapeutics is located on President Street in Park Slope, on 8th Avenue between Garfield and 1st Street. The practice treats newborns, children, adults, older adults and families, and it accepts clients without a doctor's referral.

Each plan is built from several methods: hands-on work on muscles and connective tissue, craniosacral therapy, mobilising joints, guidance on self-care at home, and exercise-based rehabilitation. The practice states that its aim is to find the principal causes of a problem and clear away obstacles so the body can repair itself. The practice describes its approach as patient-centred.

The first session lasts one hour, and follow-up sessions generally run up to 45 minutes. Some conditions are typically addressed over 2 to 6 sessions, with maintenance plans available afterward. Treatment rooms use Blueair air purifiers with HEPA filtration.

Booking requires a credit card on file. Changes or cancellations need 24 hours' notice, and missed appointments or late cancellations are charged the full appointment cost. Clients who arrive more than 20 minutes late are asked to reschedule and are charged a cancellation fee. Payment is due at the visit by credit card, Apple Pay or cash, with Venmo, Zelle and checks also accepted. Insurance is not accepted directly, but itemized receipts are available for insurance claims. Discounted packages are non-refundable and cannot be combined with other offers.

Uses a tailored mix of hands-on techniques and craniosacral work, paired with self-management advice and exercise.
