The practice works from a holistic, multidisciplinary standpoint, bringing traditional Chinese medicine acupuncture together with injection therapy, massage-style bodywork, lifestyle and diet counseling, and Chinese herbal medicine. Rather than relying on a single method, care is built to draw on several modalities, and more than one of them can be used within a single visit.
A first visit runs 90 minutes. It covers any injuries, health history, lifestyle and goals, and ends with a treatment plan. Follow-up sessions are 60 minutes. Plans typically run between 4 and 10 weeks depending on the condition, and longer-standing chronic conditions generally need more time. Supplements or Chinese herbs may be included as part of a plan.
The cosmetic and skin services are built around facial lifting, firming and tightening. Cosmetic acupuncture uses needles that penetrate about 3 mm. Cosmetic bio injections place fine needles to deliver homeopathic remedies into the middle layer of the skin. Micro needling is combined with nutritive and herbal serums, and radio frequency micro-needling, known as the Potenza treatment, delivers radiofrequency energy to the skin. The practice describes these as a non-surgical alternative to botox and fillers, and says they aim to support collagen and elastin production alongside diet and lifestyle counseling.
Some insurance plans are accepted, depending on the individual plan, so patients are advised to check their coverage with their insurer. Coverage for acupuncture is listed for Regence Blue Cross Blue Shield, Premera Blue Cross, Aetna, United Healthcare and Coordinated Care Ambetter. Medicaid and WA Apple Health plans are listed as non-covered. A sliding scale fee is offered in the office, and a superbill or invoice is provided for out-of-network benefits or health savings accounts. Some treatments may not be covered, and patients sign a non-covered service waiver form for those.
Takes a holistic, multidisciplinary approach that combines several modalities in one plan rather than a single method.
