Forward Hair Lab LLC

Forward Hair Lab was founded by master stylist Lisa Forward McKenzie and focuses on hair color, extensions and healthy hair. The salon says its goal is beautiful results and a salon experience tailored to each client.

Color and extension work begins with an in-person consultation before an appointment is scheduled. During that visit the stylist may run test strands or patch tests when they're needed, and consultation pricing can be applied to the service when it's booked. Consultation prices start at $20 for a FaceTime haircut consult and at $35 for color consults, and extension consultations start at $45.

Color services include blonding, dimensional color, balayage and vivid tones. Extensions are made from top-grade Remy hair and can be hand-tied or seamless, for added length and fullness. Tape-in, sew-in, fusion and clip-in methods are discussed at consultation.

Haircuts are booked in 30, 45, 60 or 90-minute appointments, with an extra thick cut and styling option for dense or voluminous hair. A two-hour haircut and style is offered for extra thick long hair. Appointments can be booked online through the website.

The salon is open Tuesday and Wednesday from 10:00 AM to 6:00 PM, Friday from 9:00 AM to 4:00 PM, and by appointment on Thursday and Saturday. It is closed on Monday and Sunday.
