Flutter Lash Bar is a lash extension lounge on Grand Ave in Oakland. It specializes in classic, hybrid and volume extensions, and the salon describes itself as a premier lash extension boutique.
Appointments are booked in advance, as services are by appointment only. During a visit, clients lie down in a cozy lounge with their eyes closed while the extensions are applied to the natural lashes, never to the skin.
Beyond full sets, the studio grouped under Touch Ups and Fills handles fills, removals and fills on work done by another lash artist.
Before an appointment, clients are asked to arrive with clean, healthy eyes and to limit caffeine. Lashes that have stuck together need removal and a fresh set, and a new set is required when fewer than 15 lashes remain on each eye. Cancellations made within 24 hours are charged 50% of the service price.
Extensions are placed on the natural lashes only, never on the skin.
Clients recline in a cozy lounge during their appointments.
