Flourish Hair Lounge

Flourish Hair Lounge is run from a private home studio in Moncure, NC, set up in a garage. The entrance is a man door at the back left side of the garage, and parking is on the concrete pad in front. Mill Stone Road is gravel, and cell service can be unreliable for the last few minutes of the drive. Appointments are by reservation only, with set hours on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday, and alternating Saturdays.

The color menu includes Full Dimensional color at $250 and Full Babylight at $270, both with K18 treatment, along with Partial Dimensional at $215 and Partial Babylight at $230. A Single All Over Color at $130 covers or blends gray and adds richness to the natural base. Root refreshes, a Mini Highlight, a Back to Brunette service and a stand-alone Gloss Refresh at $60 round out the color options. Cuts include a Signature Haircut at $85 for guests more than 12 weeks since their last cut, a Haircut at $65 for trims and maintenance within 12 weeks, and a Clipper Cut at $35 for short cuts and fades. The studio uses luxury hair color, products and tools during services.

Each visit begins with a consultation covering goals, hair history, maintenance and at-home care before the service starts. Guests are offered a snack and a beverage during their appointment and can bring a book, a show or a laptop. Finished looks are photographed, and guests may be tagged on Instagram with their consent.

New guests must start with one of the New Guest Sessions, and a la carte services cannot be booked for a first visit. A digital consultation form is completed before the first booking. Changes can be made online up to 48 hours before an appointment. A 48-hour cancellation policy applies, and guests who cancel within 24 hours cannot schedule in advance. Late arrivals should text as soon as possible, and arrivals more than 15 minutes late may not receive the full service. Services are not refunded, but guests can request a redo at no charge within 7 days, with exceptions for services changed after agreement or altered elsewhere. Child care must be arranged away from the salon.
