Surgical care includes Mohs micrographic surgery, performed in the office by dermatologic surgeons for certain types of skin cancer, and surgical excision of benign and cancerous lesions. The practice says Mohs offers the highest cure rate available for many skin cancers, particularly on the face or other cosmetically sensitive areas.

For skin cancers on the surface, the practice offers SRT-100 superficial radiation therapy, a non-surgical option available at The Villages and Wildwood. The system is FDA approved and delivers low-energy radiotherapy that reaches only a short distance below the skin. It is used for non-melanoma skin cancers on the legs, back, trunk, head and neck. According to the practice, SRT-100 is highly effective, painless and cosmetically attractive compared with surgery.
