The spa works by appointment and is open every day from its Huntington Station location. Alongside floating and salt cave sessions, it offers massage, which is also available to clients from Huntington, Melville, Dix Hills and Commack, as well as infrared sauna, cold plunge and cryo treatments.
There are four float rooms, so up to four guests can float at the same time. The rooms are taller than typical float tanks, with over six feet of interior height and glass entry doors. The water holds roughly 30 percent Epsom salt and is sanitized with UV light and hydrogen peroxide between each guest. Towels, robes, earplugs and other float supplies are provided, and showers are offered with a float appointment. Guests may leave the tank at any time because the doors have no latches. Guests are advised to skip coffee for several hours beforehand and to avoid shaving or waxing first.
The salt cave is a salt room using dry salt aerosol, often called halotherapy, and its walls are 100 percent pure Himalayan pink rock salt. Guests recline in zero gravity chairs beside a water cascade, in a room kept between 68 and 72 degrees Fahrenheit and ventilated through a HEPA filtered system. Blankets, disposable shoe covers and bonnets are provided. Guests should arrive ten minutes early, since late arrivals are not admitted. Food, drink, bags, purses and coats are kept out of the room and stored in lockers at the entryway, and the spa is not responsible for lost or stolen items. Electronic devices may be used on silent at the guest's own risk, but laptops are not allowed.
Infrared sauna is recommended as a pre-float experience and robes and towels are provided. The business describes its infrared sauna as state-of-the-art and premium. Guests with high blood pressure, heart problems, or who are under medical care are advised to get medical clearance before a first session, and pregnant guests are advised to avoid saunas unless a doctor advises and supervises. Cold plunge water is kept between 40 and 45 degrees Fahrenheit. A cold plunge is recommended after a session, followed by infrared sauna. Most guests stay in the cold water for a couple of minutes within a 30-minute room session. Guests with heart or respiratory conditions, older adults, people on certain medications, and anyone who is sick are advised not to cold plunge.
The business describes cryo body sculpting as a way to tighten, tone and refresh with no downtime, and consultations are free. Massage options include deep tissue, hot stone, prenatal, sports, Swedish and trigger point, and a 60-minute salt cave massage is available by appointment only. Group spa parties for up to four guests, combined packages and an unlimited membership with discounted sessions round out the menu. The business says it aims to be a leading floatation and halotherapy spa in New York.
Sessions are designed to be combined, with packages pairing float, salt cave, massage and sauna and a suggested order of sauna before a float and cold plunge followed by sauna.
A post-float lounge serves complimentary tea, and the salt room has zero gravity chairs and a water cascade.
