Floats take place in one of four private suites, each with its own shower. Each tank holds 900 pounds of dissolved Epsom salt in water about 11 inches deep, kept near 93 degrees Fahrenheit. Guests shower before floating. Light, music and the door are all optional, and the door can stay open. A 60-minute float is $70.
New guests fill in an intake form on arrival, and a float specialist shows them the suite and answers questions before the float. Filling in the online waiver ahead of time shortens arrival. Each tank runs ozone, UV and particle filtration between sessions, and rooms are cleaned with a sanitizer of hospital grade between appointments. The business says its tanks comply with the Virginia Graeme Baker Pool & Spa Safety Act. Guests who are pregnant, have low blood pressure, or are under a doctor's direct care are advised to speak with a healthcare professional before booking.
Infrared sauna sessions run 30 minutes, private, for $25. Rather than heating the air, the infrared light warms the body directly, so the room feels cooler than a traditional steam sauna. Red light therapy is a 10-minute treatment for $20, delivered through a panel that gives off red and near-infrared wavelengths. Pairing a float with a sauna session costs $95 combined, which is less than buying each separately. Plan on roughly 90 minutes of treatment time, and expect to be on the premises for about two hours. The float and sauna can be done in either order, though most guests start with the sauna, and that preference can be noted at booking.
Changes to or cancellations of appointments require 24 hours' notice. When that notice isn't given, or a client doesn't show up, half the price of the booked service is charged to the card on file. Services paid for with a credit or gift card follow the same rule. Appointments can be booked online in about a minute, with real-time openings shown, or booked by phone. All purchases are final.
The business describes itself as a holistic spa, and guests control the sensory side of a float, choosing whether to use light, music or a closed door. A specialist orients first-time guests before they float.
Each float session includes a shower before and after, a vanity area and a relaxation room, all in a private setting.
