Flaunt was established in 2009 and occupies a historic building from 1905 with a courtyard. The building was found in 2011 and has been renovated since then. Parking is available on the street or in municipal lots nearby.

The salon is a small, cozy and intimate studio. It is known for chic, detailed short cuts, for creating movement in long hair, and for color transformations. Services range from simple blowouts to complete transformations.

Judy owns the salon and works as a stylist. She has more than 25 years of styling experience, has worked with Seventeen Magazine and E Entertainment TV, has taken part in Oprah Show makeovers, and has styled celebrity clients at the Oscars. Clients come from across the US and from Denmark, and much of the clientele arrives through referrals and word of mouth.

Current clients can order a custom color kit that carries the salon's exact formula for at-home root touch-ups. A kit costs $55 plus shipping, or $70 plus shipping for a kit that includes roots and ends.
