Rather than asking clients to come to a salon chair, the business styles hair where the client is getting ready, whether at home, a venue or a hotel. Bridal work is the core of the business, and it also styles kids for communions and flower girl looks, mothers of the bride or groom, prom and Sweet 16 clients, and photoshoots.

Clients can book a trial at the in-home studio in Miller Place or at their own location, depending on availability. Trials can be booked before a contract is signed, and a date does not have to be reserved first. Without a booked date, trials are scheduled within 30 days of the inquiry. A soft hold is placed on the wedding date and released unless it is secured within 7 days of the trial.

Booking is handled by email. A booking package includes a quote, a contract and an invoice, and the contract must be returned within 5 days along with a 30% non-refundable deposit. Clients get access to a client portal after booking. Pricing is shared upfront so clients can plan a budget. Parties of 3 to 30 people are welcome: bookings require a 4-person minimum, with exceptions, and freelance stylists are added for larger parties depending on timing. The business prefers to style no more than 7 people on the day and schedules about one hour per person requesting services.

The business does not offer makeup and refers clients to a list of vendors, and it does not provide clips, combs or hairpieces. Destination weddings can be covered with customized packages that include travel, accommodations and hair services for the rehearsal dinner, the wedding day and the day after. On the day of a wedding the veil is typically not put in unless it is sewn into the hair or part of the style; the stylist shows a bridesmaid how to place it. The business says its client experience is guaranteed.

Pricing is set out in advance so clients can stick to a budget, and styles are adjusted to each client's hair texture, color and length.
