About

Fire & Ice Wellness is a locally owned business in Yorktown that focuses on recovery and wellness. The business describes itself as a premier destination in City Center for wellness and recovery. Services are grouped under Recovery, Aesthetics and Longevity, and most are sold as single sessions, multi-session packages or monthly memberships.

The Recovery menu centers on heat and cold. Whole body cryotherapy exposes the body to sub-zero temperatures for up to 3 minutes, and first-time cryotherapy clients complete a medical waiver before their session. The business says cold exposure from whole body cryotherapy can reduce inflammation and muscle soreness. Local cryotherapy is offered for sports performance, pain management and skin concerns. Infrared sauna sessions run 15 to 40 minutes, with a basic waiver completed beforehand. Contrast therapy alternates sauna use with cold therapy in a 50-minute booking. Cold plunge sessions use water at 39 to 42 degrees Fahrenheit or colder, lasting 30 seconds to 5 minutes, and red light therapy beds are booked in 30-minute slots. Normatec compression uses pulsed air on the limbs in 30-minute bookings.

Cryotherapy clients change in a private changing room and receive a hat, socks, slippers and gloves, with a robe available on request. The IV therapy team is described as clinically licensed, and clients are assessed before each infusion. IV therapy delivers vitamins and minerals into the bloodstream and is booked in 15-minute appointments. Clients can choose from a menu of named IV drips, or from intramuscular injections of vitamins and minerals, which are booked in 10-minute appointments. Botox is listed at $14 for a 15-minute appointment, and the booking page says appointments are with a licensed professional. The Lean Green Laser service uses 532nm green laser light for body contouring and is booked for one hour, with multi-session packages available.

Longevity services include testosterone replacement therapy and peptides. Testosterone replacement therapy begins with a consultation and blood panel, and a medical provider designs the plan. Peptide plans are customized, with some taken at home and others given by injection in the studio. The business also offers a 3D body composition scan, VO2 max testing and resting metabolic rate testing.

Pricing spans single sessions, packages and memberships. Monthly memberships are named Ignite at $49, Fusion at $149, Renew at $199 and Sculpt at $399, with included sessions, IV drips and 10% off services varying by plan. Unlimited monthly plans cover sauna at $249, red light at $279, cryo at $299 or everything at $499. Gift cards come in $25, $50, $75 and $100 amounts or a custom amount, and group gift cards can pool money from several contributors for one recipient.

The business combines heat and cold recovery sessions with IV therapy, injections and testing, and uses licensed staff and medical providers for the services that call for them.
