Alex opened Fine Line Cosmetic Tattoo in 2020 and built it as a home for cosmetic tattoo artists who meet her standards for skill, knowledge, style and cleanliness. Each artist runs their own schedule, emails, bookings and business, so clients book directly with the artist they choose.

Brow services include microblading, which is drawn with a handheld tool and tiny needles to create hair-like strokes; nano brows, done with a single-needle tattoo machine for a finer hair-like look; powder brows, which use soft dots to heal into a shadow-like, makeup-style brow; and combo brows. Brow and nano or powder work typically takes two sessions to reach the final result, with a touch-up scheduled 8 to 12 weeks after the first appointment. Results are described as lasting about 2 to 5 years before a color boost is needed. The studio does not recommend microblading for very oily skin or more mature skin types.

Brows typically take 7 to 10 days to heal. Clients are asked to avoid topical makeup on the brows until peeling or flaking has finished, to skip facials and skin care treatments for at least two weeks, and to avoid exercise for 7 to 10 days. Lasers, peels and waxing should be kept away from the brows for two weeks before and after an appointment.

Booking rules are set out clearly. New client deposits are non-refundable, hold the appointment and vary by artist. Current clients who reschedule or cancel within 48 hours of an appointment are charged a $50 fee. New clients who cancel within 48 hours must pay a new deposit to rebook, and cancelling after an appointment starts means half the appointment cost is charged. There is no cancellation list; openings are announced on each artist's Instagram.

Tiny tattoos start at $150, with pricing given by email. Eyelash extensions are offered as an additional service by Sidney, who books through a separate website.
