FIG Beauty Studio is a small studio on Magnolia Avenue in Riverside focused on brows and lashes. Christina owns the studio and works as its brow and lash artist. The studio is open on Tuesdays from 11:00 am to 4:00 pm and Thursdays from 11:00 am to 5:30 pm, and is closed the rest of the week.

Christina has worked in the beauty industry for about twelve years, starting as a makeup artist in Los Angeles. Her path since then has included brand management for a lash extension company and work as an esthetician, and she has worked as a lash and brow shaping specialist. She credits much of what she knows to established professionals in the field, and she enjoys meeting a wide range of clients. She wants to grow the business and to teach or mentor aspiring artists.

Lash extensions are placed individually onto natural lashes with a medical-grade adhesive that the studio describes as free of fumes, latex and formaldehyde. Styles range from natural to glamorous and use synthetic faux mink hair. A classic full set takes about 90 minutes and a volume set takes 90 to 120 minutes. Fills take about 60 to 75 minutes and are recommended every 2 to 3 weeks, since extensions follow the natural lash cycle of roughly 4 to 6 weeks. Refills done at another salon may be accepted if the quality is good, and clients request a Foreign Fill when booking online. If too many lashes are missing or a set cannot be refilled, a removal and new set may be needed instead. The studio advises washing lashes daily with an extension-safe cleanser, avoiding oil-based products and not using a lash curler. Lash lifts curl and darken natural lashes, with results lasting about 6 to 8 weeks.

Booking requires a credit card saved on file, which holds the appointment and is only charged if the cancellation policy is broken. Clients who prefer not to use a card can text the studio for the amount of a non-refundable deposit, paid by Venmo or Zelle. Accepted payment methods are credit card, Venmo and Zelle. Changes need 24 hours' notice by phone call or text, as email is not accepted. Rescheduling inside 24 hours may incur a 50% charge, while cancelling inside 24 hours or not showing up without notice incurs the full service charge. Arriving more than 15 minutes late may lead to cancellation and a full fee, so clients should call if running more than 5 minutes behind. Only clients receiving a service may be in the studio, and phones should be silenced on arrival.

The shop sells extension-safe cleansers, makeup removers and brushes, along with brow products and skincare. Gift cards are sold as eGift cards in amounts of $25, $50, $75, $100 or a custom amount through Square.
