Feral Hair Co is a private hair studio in Minneapolis, run by owner Amanda Ferrell. She opened it with a creative partner after nearly 20 years working in the corporate hair world.

The menu is built around haircuts for men, women and kids, from short clipper cuts and skin fades to longer precision cuts. Beard shaping, edge cleanups, a scalp treatment, a shampoo add-on, a mini facial and brow and nose or ear waxing round out the list.

Appointments can be filled with conversation on any topic or with quiet time, whichever the client prefers. The studio describes its aim as a relaxed, safe space for the LGBTQIA+ community and everyone else. A client review on the home page praises the haircuts and says clients feel welcome and confident with their look.

Clients can book online through the Book Now button or send questions through the contact form. A 100% cancellation fee applies to no-shows and to cancellations within one hour of the appointment, and clients who need to move a booking in those cases must contact Amanda directly.
