Booking a deposit counts as agreeing to the business's policies. Deposits are non-refundable, but they can be transferred to another booking once.

Clients are asked to arrive with freshly washed hair that is free of heavy product and already blow-dried, and to use light oils or products while drying. Anyone who has had a relaxer recently should not book a braid style until three to four weeks have passed. If preparation requirements are not met, service is refused and a $50 inconvenience fee applies. The stylist may also stop service at any point during an appointment.

Punctuality matters here. Clients should arrive on time or let the business know if they will be late, and a $10 fee applies for every 10 minutes of lateness. An appointment is cancelled if a client is 15 minutes late without notice or 20 minutes late with notice, and that client cannot book future appointments. Cancellations and rescheduling need at least 48 hours' notice. Within 48 hours, a 15% fee based on the style price applies, and no-calls, no-shows and same-day cancellations are charged 50% of the style balance. Style changes can be requested up to 72 hours before the appointment, and changes are not accepted within that window. A reminder email with the address is sent 24 hours ahead.

Guests are not allowed unless they are also receiving services, and children count as guests. Clients must arrange childcare for any children who are not being serviced. Squeeze-in appointments can be arranged for an extra $80, subject to availability.

Services are offered in a private home rather than a salon space.
