Visits can be in person at either office, by videoconference, or as virtual visits with its providers. The Tysons office is open Monday through Friday, 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM. The Falls Church office is open Monday through Thursday, 8:30 AM to 5:30 PM, with walk-ins and same-day appointments on those days; Fridays and Saturdays are by appointment only, and it is closed on Sundays. New patients should arrive 15 minutes early to complete registration, and first visits call for an insurance card, a valid photo ID, a list of current medications, and any office co-pay.

Clinical services cover acute medical problems and preventive care for adults. Office-based buprenorphine induction and maintenance is offered for opioid dependence, along with alcohol and benzodiazepine detoxification and treatment. Department of Transportation physicals for commercial driver's licenses are available now. Immigration physicals for USCIS are planned, pending the clinic's civil surgeon certification application. Minor procedures can be done in the office with the patient's informed written consent.

Self-pay new patients pay the full charge or a minimum $200 deposit, and established self-pay patients pay the full charge or a minimum $150 deposit. Cash, Visa, Mastercard, Discover, American Express and personal checks are accepted, and the clinic encourages keeping a card on file through an outside card-processing partner. The practice participates in many insurance plans, including several Medicare and Medicaid plans, though the list changes and should be verified before a visit; Medicaid participation varies among Privia providers. The clinic is affiliated with Inova Fairfax Hospital, Peninsula Regional Health System in Salisbury, Maryland, and Virginia Hospital Center. Patients use the myPrivia app and patient portal to book appointments, message providers and manage medications. For life-threatening emergencies, patients are directed to call 911 or go to the nearest emergency department.

Care is offered in person, by videoconference, or through virtual visits with its providers, and addiction treatment is provided in the office setting.
