Before a treatment, the team listens to each client's skin goals and analyzes their skin, then builds services around those goals. New clients arrive a few minutes early to fill out a consultation form and should bring or list every product they use, avoiding new skin care purchases before the first visit. Clients on prescription topicals stop them one week before a facial. Clients who are unsure what to book can choose the Customized Facial for New Customers, and the esthetician recommends a treatment during the appointment. Team members are trained on the studio's treatment systems, facials and product lines, and, according to the founder, can see a client's previous treatment notes and plans. For clients who want to get serious about their skin, the studio suggests budgeting $300 to $1,000 for a first appointment.

The studio's view is that good skin depends mostly on home care, with treatments making up a smaller share. Clients are generally guided toward a full home care regimen the studio curates for them. Two multi-week programs follow this idea: a 12-week Acne Bootcamp, offered in person or virtually, with in-clinic visits every two weeks, and a 6-week Pigmentation Bootcamp of weekly light peels with minimal downtime. Both programs carry home care product costs of $200 to $400 at the first appointment, on top of treatment fees. The studio says it uses premium, carefully chosen skin care products, and some Glymed products are sold only through a manufacturer affiliate link rather than in clinic.

Virtual skin consultations are available to clients anywhere in the US and Canada. A one-on-one video session of about 30 minutes, held by FaceTime, Instagram video or Zoom, covers skin analysis, skin goals, lifestyle factors and possible triggers of a skin condition. The $150 fee includes $50 toward the client's first product purchase, and the consultation produces a home care regimen with products shipped directly to the client. Clients should expect to spend $200 to $600 on that first batch.

Policies: clients must give 24 hours' notice to cancel. Appointments must be confirmed by text or email five days ahead, or the studio may cancel or charge a $75 cancellation fee per booked service. Online bookings do not charge a card at booking. If a card on file cannot be charged, the balance must be paid before another booking. Three cancellations or no-shows in a row may lead to removal from the practice. Treatments are not refunded or exchanged. Unopened, unused products can be returned within 30 days, and defective or shipping-damaged products can be exchanged through the manufacturer. Treatments are not performed for clients taking Accutane, clients who are sunburnt, or clients with a compromised skin barrier who are reacting. Post-treatment concerns can be sent by phone at 773-501-5440 or by email. The studio is open Monday to Friday from 12:00 PM to 8:00 PM and Saturday to Sunday from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM.
