The menu spans hair, nails, waxing, makeovers, massage and a few special treatments, so one visit can combine a haircut with a manicure or a massage.

Hair work is the main focus. Color options run from semi-permanent and single process through double process, foil highlights, and balayage with special coloring effects. Men's cuts are done with scissors or an electric trimmer and finished with gel or pomade, and children's cuts and blowouts are also offered. Bridal hair and bridal party styling are available for special occasions, and a color consultation can be booked by phone to plan goals with a colorist.

On the spa side, there are Swedish, deep tissue, hot stone, aromatherapy, and muscle therapy massages, each sold as a one-hour session, with customized therapeutic programs arranged by phone and a pregnancy massage given by trained therapists. Nail options run from manicures and a no-chip manicure to several pedicures that include scrubs, masks, paraffin, or a choice of essential oil aroma. Waxing is performed by licensed estheticians in a private setting, and makeup and makeovers are also done by a licensed esthetician.

Appointments can be booked by calling (773) 238-3300 or online. Cancellations and reschedules need 24 hours' notice. A $25 charge goes on the guest account for a no-show or a late cancellation and must be paid before future appointments are booked. The salon is open Tuesday and Wednesday from 9 AM to 9 PM, Thursday from 11 AM to 9 PM, Friday from 9 AM to 5 PM, and Saturday from 9 AM to 4 PM, and is closed Mondays and Sundays. It also runs occasional promotions and offers an e-newsletter through its guestbook.

According to the salon, its stylists are highly educated and creative in color and cut, and it says its services and staff are held to a high standard.
