Fab Electrolysis was founded by the sisters Etty and Haya Fabber, who run the studio together. It focuses on permanent hair removal, with electrolysis that treats hair one follicle at a time and laser hair removal for larger areas. Skin treatments such as facials, peels, masks and light therapy sit alongside the hair removal services.

A first visit begins with a free consultation and patch test, which carries no commitment and is free whether or not a client books treatment. The studio says it takes time to listen to each client's concerns before building a plan. Electrolysis is priced by time rather than by area, at $2.25 per minute with a $15 minimum, and sessions run 5, 15, 30, 45 or 60 minutes, up to $135 per visit. Laser is priced per session by area size.

The studio is open Sunday to Thursday from 10am to 7pm and Friday from 10am to 4pm, and is closed Saturdays. Clients can book online or by phone or text at 718-360-2902. Services can be booked one session at a time, or through prepaid packages and monthly memberships. Prepaid package sessions do not expire, and unused membership sessions roll over for 30 days.

The studio describes itself as a welcoming, judgment-free space and says its atmosphere is warm and friendly. It states that it is LGBTQ+ friendly and offers gender-affirming hair removal for transgender and non-binary clients. Some clients use HSA or FSA funds for hirsutism treatment with a doctor's letter of medical necessity.

Treatment plans are built around each client's concerns, and the sisters oversee each plan from the first consultation through the final session. The studio says electrolysis is the only method the FDA recognizes as permanent hair removal.
