The lash menu is built around retention. Regular lash fills suit clients who keep 50 to 60 percent of their lashes, extended fills apply at 30 to 50 percent retention, and a foreign fill is offered to new clients coming in with extensions from another studio. Clients with fewer than 30 percent of their lashes left are asked to book a full set. The studio recommends a fill every two to three weeks for the best retention and value.
Skin services are facials tailored to individual skin needs and concerns, and the studio also offers permanent makeup. Eyebrow waxing is priced at $30. Permanent makeup comes with a free 15-minute consultation before booking. New lash and facial clients are asked for a $75 deposit, permanent makeup requires a $100 deposit, and deposits count toward the service cost.
The wellness side includes meditation workshops, breathwork sessions and sound bath healing workshops. Head and shoulder massage is free as a birthday perk for Self-Care Club members. The studio also teaches make-up lessons and rents its space for workshops, seminars and gatherings, with sliding-scale pricing for events that benefit and prioritize BIPOC communities. A community events calendar lists workshops and wellness events.
The Self-Care Club membership gives members a monthly credit for an eyebrow wax, 10 percent off lash, facial, waxing and permanent makeup services and products, priority access to monthly events, three cancellation fee waivers, and 10 percent off at Body Collective Massage Studio next door. The club commits to donating half of its annual membership proceeds to local organizations that support QTBIPOC communities. Lavender Rights Project and Alphabet Alliance of Color are listed as community partners.
To book, clients can use the online Vagaro booking page or call 206.567.7705. The studio is open Tuesday through Saturday from 10:00 am to 6:00 pm and closed Sunday and Monday. Clients are asked to arrive five minutes early, and appointments are held if they are less than ten minutes late. Cancellations need 24 hours' notice, and a no-show fee of the full service price may be charged to the card on file. After two no-shows, appointments must be paid in full when booked. New clients are encouraged to complete consent forms online before their first visit. The studio states that satisfaction is guaranteed.
Combines beauty and wellness to support self-care from the inside and out, with methods that can be customized to each client.
The studio calls itself a self-care sanctuary.
