Eyebrow Energy is a brow studio located in the back of the building at 2001 Calumet in Houston, Texas 77004. The studio describes itself as offering a personalized experience aimed at enhancing a client's natural features, and its work centers on threading, natural shape restoration and custom brow design.

A first visit is a 45-minute appointment. It opens with an in-depth brow consultation and an assessment of the face and natural growth, followed by a personalized design and a first shaping. The visit also reviews any past plucking, waxing, shaving or thinning, and ends with a grow-out and maintenance plan, with product recommendations when they are needed. New clients are required to have this consultation.

That 30-minute visit focuses on precise shaping and can add upper lip threading. The studio suggests booking again every four to six weeks. Shorter threading options include a 15-minute lip tidy and a 10-minute session for the chin and neck. For a longer visit, the one-hour full-face service works on brows, forehead, cheeks, upper lip, chin, jawline and, when wanted, sideburns.

For regular clients there are prepaid options. A one-year brow package covers twelve monthly visits for $720, which the studio lists as about $60 a visit compared with $75 for a single visit, and it states a saving of $180 over paying per visit. A prepaid year deal is also listed at $1.00 per monthly visit.

The studio also offers training for people who want to learn threading: a six-hour private one-on-one brow shaping and threading intensive, a six-hour group professional brow threading certification for beginners, and an online Art of Shaping Eyebrows class.

Practical details: a credit card is required to reserve, and cancellations or reschedules need at least six hours' notice, with a 50% service fee for shorter notice. No-shows are charged a 100% service fee. The studio lists disinfection of surfaces and between clients, disposable supplies in use, and a handwashing station. It also offers parking, wheelchair access, a child-friendly space, Wi-Fi, a loyalty program and gift cards.
