ExO Lounge was started by two cousins who had spent years working in the traditional nail industry. Their approach rests on three standards: clean ingredients, careful technique, and enough time allotted for each service.

Services are fully waterless. Instead of soaking bowls, technicians use warm towels, steamed compresses and homemade oils and scrubs, and the salon says this helps polish last longer. Tools are sanitized between guests. The room is kept intentionally small with fewer chairs, and it is finished in warm wood and soft linen, lit by natural light, with no harsh lighting and no synthetic fragrance.

The menu has two tiers, Signature services and ExO services. Dazzle Dry polish typically wears 10 to 14 days, and the non-toxic gel can last 2 to 3 weeks with proper care. Builder gel is removed or refilled every 3 to 4 weeks. Kids manicures and pedicures are offered for guests 10 and under, using the same scent-free products as the adult services.

The facial menu ranges from a 35-minute Glow Boost treatment, described as hydrating and brightening with no downtime, to the 1 hour 30 minute Signature Lifting Facial, which includes shoulder, head and scalp massage. Other facials include the Glass Skin Facial and the Acne Care Facial. Sugar scrubs, masks and treatments are made in-house in small batches. Quick add-ons include LED light, gua sha, lymphatic massage and scalp massage.

Walk-ins are accepted when availability allows, but booking online or by phone is recommended to guarantee a time, and the salon says same-week appointments are often available. It asks for at least 24 hours notice for cancellations or reschedules. Quick calls and headphones are fine, but work calls, speakerphone conversations and videos on speaker are not. The lounge is open Monday to Saturday 9:00 AM to 7:00 PM and Sunday 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM.
