ExcluShear is an adult salon in Arlington that welcomes clients from across Dallas Fort Worth. Each stylist works with clients to build a personalized hair care plan centered on hair health.

New clients must book a consultation before their first service. The first visit is a New Client Experience that is set aside for about three hours, and first appointments can run longer. New clients may book a Silk Press Smoothing Treatment and a cut on the same day as their consultation, and that is the only service option for them at a first visit. Color services are not included in first-time appointments. Every client is shampooed except for consultation-only services. Longer or thicker hair usually costs more because it takes more product, and pricing is discussed during the consultation. Clients should arrive with their hair thoroughly detangled, since excessive detangling on arrival adds a fee to the remaining balance. The salon does not offer relaxers, short cuts such as pixie cuts, or the shortest cut is a bob.

Booking requires a 50% non-refundable deposit that is applied to the total, with the remaining balance collected at the end of the appointment. Deposits may vary by stylist, and a card must be kept on file for no-shows and last-minute cancellations, with the missed-appointment fee due within 24 hours. The salon takes debit and credit cards, including Visa, Mastercard and American Express, but not cash. Guests who are not being serviced may not wait in the salon without notice, and additional guests are not permitted during appointments unless approved in advance. Stylists set their own schedules because the team operates independently.

The salon also offers education for hairstylists, including programs on building recurring revenue, silk press technique and longevity, length retention cutting, and healthy hair retention, along with coaching and support through The Six-Figure Society.
