Evolve Med Ink was established in March 2021 and offers paramedical and cosmetic tattooing by appointment at two Southern California locations, one in Lake Forest and one in Riverside. Clients from outside the region, including those traveling in, are welcome.

Scar camouflage uses flesh-tone tattooing over surgical scars such as mastectomy, tummy tuck and C-section scars, injury scars, and stretch marks. Lighter scars are treated with a custom ink formula matched to the client's skin tone, while darker scars receive a neutralizing technique. Most clients need two to five sessions, usually four to eight weeks apart, and keloids must first be treated with steroid injections and flattened before camouflage can begin. The business says results typically last five years or more, depending on sun exposure, skin type and aftercare.

3D areola and nipple restoration tattoos are usually completed in two sessions scheduled seven to ten weeks apart, each typically lasting about 1.5 to 3 hours. They are offered at least six months after the last breast reconstruction surgery and with doctor clearance. Saline lightening, using the LI-FT technique, is offered for older or saturated permanent makeup and may take up to ten sessions spaced at least eight weeks apart. Emergency removal is available for permanent makeup applied within the last 48 hours; the business gives estimates of one to three sessions and notes that complete removal cannot be guaranteed, with laser sometimes working faster for some clients.

Bare areola and nipple prosthetics are handmade to order from professional-grade silicone. They are external pieces for cosmetic wear only, not implants, and can be reused for nine months or more with proper care. Colors and designs can be chosen from current inventory or matched from reference photos, and custom and in-person fitting options are available for a closer match. Pre-mastectomy mold preservation lets a prosthetic later be made from a client's natural shape and size.

Beauty services include a Korean lash lift with lash tint, which uses a cysteamine-based formula and lasts up to eight weeks, and brow lamination with styling, a trim and a highlight, which can be done on brows with permanent makeup. The Glow and Go dermaplaning facial uses a sterile single-use blade followed by a double cleanse, hydrating toner, serum, moisturizer and SPF.

Each treatment is planned around the client's scar or skin tone, goals and emotional comfort, and coverage is built up gradually over several sessions rather than in one visit.

Each appointment takes place in a private room that is kept clean, with disposable needles and equipment used every time.
