Evolutionary Skin

Evolutionary Skin is a private skincare practice rather than a traditional day spa. The studio calls itself LA's first private paramedical skin studio. It is located in a medical building in Reseda, near the 101 freeway, and is reached by the north side elevators to the fifth floor.

A visit usually begins with a complimentary 10 to 15 minute call. In that call the studio checks fit, suggests what the skin likely needs next, sets realistic expectations for a 30 to 90 day timeline and recommends a starting point. If a fit is found, the next step is an in-person Initial Assessment plus First Treatment, which covers skin history, skin condition, tolerances and mapping, and ends with a personalized plan and the start of treatment. Treatments are not drawn from a fixed spa menu; they are built around each client's concerns and goals, and plans are adjusted as the skin changes.

Signature offerings include custom facials, custom body services and hypoallergenic waxing. Membership options run $99, $149 or $199 per month, each with a different monthly treatment and a discount on products or add-ons. Members can roll credits over up to three times, skip time contracts, and share special member pricing with up to three friends a month.

The studio also runs a virtual homecare program with coaching for clients who live in the United States but outside Los Angeles. Some treatments can be done at home with guidance, and clients have direct access to the founder between visits. The studio states that about 80% of results come from using the right products at home and making lifestyle changes.

The practice does not offer medspa treatments such as microneedling, injectables or lasers. Most treatments involve little to no downtime, according to the studio.

The practice takes a holistic, non-invasive approach focused on skin function, barrier integrity, inflammation control and regenerative support. It puts consistency ahead of intensity and aims for longer-term results, with education included in every interaction.
