New clients begin with a 20-minute consultation and pay a one-time, non-refundable $25 deposit on that day, which is deducted from their account. New clients also need to book two months ahead, either online or at their next appointment. Last-minute appointments are not taken by phone or text.
Longer services take a good part of the day. Medium to large box braids or knotless braids take about six hours with hair included, and starter locs with instant locs take about six hours as well. Shorter visits, such as loc maintenance or micro loc styling, take one to two hours.
The studio offers an unlimited appointment package that runs for one year. Children and extra guests are not allowed in the salon unless they are being serviced. All prices are final and non-refundable.
The studio also teaches hands-on classes in hair braiding and locing. These are promoted through separate class websites rather than on the main booking page.
The salon says it uses only products it considers the best for keeping hair healthy.
The salon has limited seating.
