Evolution Lash Studio & Spa is owned by Evelyn, who opened the studio after 26 years in the beauty industry and a move away from a full-time job. The studio says it has spent more than a decade building its reputation in the community, and it serves clients across Monmouth County and the Jersey Shore.

About

Lash extensions and lifts are the core of the menu. Discovery and Hybrid full sets take two to two and a half hours, while Evolve volume sets take three to five hours. Fills usually take just over an hour and are generally booked every two to three weeks, and extensions typically last two to four weeks with good aftercare. Each extension is placed on a single natural lash, and clients who wear contacts or glasses can usually book. A patch test before the appointment is recommended for anyone who has reacted to lash glue in the past.

Skin services are planned around each client. Every skin treatment is customized to skin type and concerns, and treatments are offered for sensitive skin. The HydraFacial menu has three tiers, from the Signature to the Platinum, which adds LED therapy and lymphatic drainage to a customized booster. Facials need no downtime, but clients are asked to stop retinol, exfoliating acids and at-home peels for two to three days beforehand, skip hot yoga or saunas for 24 hours afterward, and wear SPF daily.

Hair removal covers sugaring, waxing and threading for the brows, lip, chin and face as well as the body. Brazilian sugaring takes hair from the front, sides and back using sugar paste, and new clients receive an introductory price with no membership required. The service includes skin preparation, aftercare and personalized recommendations. Permanent jewelry, a custom chain welded at the wrist, ankle or neckline with no clasp, is also available.

Booking requires a non-refundable deposit. With at least 24 hours' notice, the deposit can be moved to a future service or retail purchase. Cancellations with less than 24 hours' notice are charged 50% of the scheduled service, while same-day cancellations and no-shows are charged the full service. Clients booking lash appointments are asked to arrive with clean lashes and no makeup.

Each skin treatment is tailored to the client's skin type and concerns. The studio says its aim is for clients to feel confident and radiant after every visit.
