Evolution Aesthetics

Evolution Aesthetics is based on the second floor of a building on East Oakland Park Boulevard in Oakland Park, Florida. The studio focuses on brows, with a short lip waxing service alongside them.

Brow shaping starts with mapping the brow using string and includes waxing with a zinc oxide wax that the studio uses for sensitive skin. Concealer is applied to finish, and a brow pencil can be added if the client wants more definition.

For longer-lasting results, the studio offers a few services that change the hair itself. Brow lamination is a perm that reshapes the brow hairs, with waxing included. It can be paired with a tint, which typically lasts up to 10 days depending on skin type and aftercare. Lamination results generally last 4 to 6 weeks with proper care, and clients can book a lamination service every 8 weeks. Lamination is not suitable for clients who are pregnant.

Hybrid Brows combine waxing or tweezing with concealer and a stain that colors both the hair and the skin. The stain generally lasts 10 to 14 days, depending on skin type, hair type and aftercare. A Brow Hydration Treatment, which includes waxing and shaping, is available four weeks after any lamination.

Lip waxing removes upper lip hair and ends with a hydrating cream. Clients need enough hair length for the wax to work.
