Evanescence Massage and Skin Studio

Evanescence was founded in 2011 by Katie Stroman, who began her wellness work in 1998 and later expanded into skin care, becoming a licensed esthetician with a focus on corrective skin care. The studio brings massage and skin care together under one roof, and its sessions are shaped around each client's needs.

The massage menu includes deep tissue, Swedish, hot stone, heated Himalayan salt stone, aromatherapy, hot towel, sound therapy and LED light therapy options, with full-spectrum CBD available in some treatments. A 90-minute massage is listed at $200 and a 120-minute massage at $300. Massage and facial pairings are also offered: a 60-minute massage with a 30-minute facial for $225, or with a 60-minute facial for $300.

Skin and body services range from whisper-soft ASMR-style sessions to a customized facial. Rooted is a 30-minute scalp session with hair brushing, scalp massage and jade combs for $75. Drift is a 60-minute body session for women focusing on the back, arms, lower legs and head, for $140. Glow is a 60-minute facial with a cleanse, mask, lymphatic-focused massage and gua sha for $140. The Manual Facelift Massage is a 75-minute facial massage for $210 that includes jaw and neck work, intraoral buccal massage and fascia release across the face, scalp and decolletage. Clients who have had Botox or filler injections are asked to wait at least three weeks before booking it. A 60-minute custom facial with a double cleanse, exfoliation, customized mask and massage is listed at $150.

Hair removal includes waxing and sugaring. Brazilian sugaring is booked through the Sweeter Skin by Mya page, which also lists sugaring and waxing for brows, lip, chin, legs, arms, underarms, chest, back, stomach, inner thigh and glutes, along with a 75-minute signature facial for $165 that includes a consultation. New clients pay a booking deposit, and the amount varies by service. Gift cards are sold on the website.
